You are the O In SHOUT

(This lady with her head titled back, leg kicked up high, represents the spirit of one about to kick butt and overcome:  It's the cover of the e-book, the second in the series, and will be available on Amazon in June)

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO OVERCOME

     SHOUT is Powerful.  Remember Joshua and the people of Israel knocking down the walls of Jericho with a powerful SHOUT!
     When you get to the O in SHOUT, it's time to knock obstacles out of your way and  ask:

    What should you do when trouble comes?

    When you receive a layoff notice;

    When folks on your job don't  like you;

    When you're confused and don't know your purpose;

    When Mr. Right is being a jerk and Mr. Wrong keeps showing up; or

     When despite your best work and efforts, there's not enough to pay the bills.

     Although trouble always looks scary, it comes mostly to grow us from one situation to the next, and, therefore, we should embrace it!  So have a quick pity party.  Then call your girl-friend and tell her how scared you are, so she can tell you how awful it is.  Afterwards put the phone down slowly, breathe, do some yoga,  or whatever you do to get your mind still because your next moves will be powerful, and I don't want you to be knocked off your feet:

     Whip out these two scriptures:

               Do not be anxious for anything, but in every situation, by
               prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, present your request to
               God.  And the Peace of  God, which transcends all understanding,
               will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
               Phillipians 4: 6-8
               Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
               understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall
               direct your path.”
               Proverbs 3: 5-5.
      Next do these 10 things:

1.  Surrender and get ready for something new;
2.  Don't judge the situation;
3.  Trust God (He only wants the best for you);
4.  Ask for God's guidance and protection;
5.  Read additional scriptures on overcoming;
6.  Surround yourself with positive people (Don't call the girlfriend back if she   enjoyed your pity party too much!);
7.  Fill your heart with love;
8.  Forgive any wrongdoing of others and focus on the goodness of Man:);
9.  Accept Change, peacefully; and
10. Be open for the infinite possibilities of Life

         Now, get ready to SHOUT because you're armed with all that you need to overcome!  It doesn't matter what you're facing, how negative it is, or how big the problem is, God will move and take you from where you're kneeling to where He wants you to be.  Because you, my friend, are the O in SHOUT!

Love,

Meme Kelly

P.S:  Stay Inspired and always:

Shine your light

Have Hope

Overcome Obstacles

Use God's Power &

Trust Him

 And if you need some extra Hope, like I did yesterday, please read the scriptures below that were emailed to me by a sister in Christ SHOUTN with us.  Enjoy!

Psalm 130:5
I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.

You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope.

I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words.

  3. @Kimberly and Tracy, thanks so much for your sweet comments. I have a heavy heart this evening after hearing about the passing of my dear friend John Caldwell earlier today. God has changed my SHOUT!
